Quilt in a Day - Orion's Star Quilt Book

Orion’s Star Quilt combines two traditional, well loved blocks into an exciting new look. The center part of the block is an eight pointed Star, often reffered to as the Evening Star, or Sawtooth Star. Its less common name is the Simole Star, and with the easy “flyinggeese” method used to make star points, the star is certainly simple to make. The finished size of the block is 8” square. Once “logs” are added, the finsihed size of the block is 16” square.
