Let’s find the machine that fits the way you quilt!

I’m Brenda Shreve and I’m proud to be an APQS Representative in Oklahoma. I know that choosing a longarm quilting machine can feel like a lot at first. There are throat sizes, tables, features, accessories and computerized quilting options to compare.

You do not have to figure it out alone.

I will help you look at your available space, the quilts you make, the features you will actually use, and what you want to spend. My goal is to help you choose an APQS machine that feels comfortable and makes sense for you.

APQS longarm quilting machines are made in Carroll, Iowa. They are known for smooth movement, accurate stitching, simple operation, and easy maintenance. New APQS machines are also backed by a limited lifetime warranty on parts and labor for the original owner.

Meet Tilly!

Tilly is a brand-new kind of APQS longarm. It was designed from the ground up around Genesis Technology, so it is very different from the other machines in the APQS lineup.

Genesis replaces traditional pulleys, bearings, and drive shafts with two precision digital motors inside the machine head. For you, that means a quieter machine, improved balance, responsive movement, and fewer moving parts.

AccuSync automatically synchronizes the motors each time you turn Tilly on. It also recalibrates after a needle break, so the machine is ready before you begin stitching again.

The APQS Mobile App connects with Tilly through Bluetooth. It gives you convenient access to the digital manual and APQS service information when you need help.

Tilly also includes:

  • A 26-inch throat with 20.75 inches of quilting space

  • A five-inch customizable color touchscreen

  • An open machine head for better visibility

  • A needle laser for accurate placement

  • Configurable handle controls

  • Turbo Baste for programmable regulated basting

  • A top thread break sensor

  • Directional electronic locks

  • Front and rear multi-position handles

  • Dimmable LED lighting with a built-in blacklight

Optional for Tilly:

  • Quilt Path Compatibility

  • Deluxe Table

  • Comfort Table

APQS Millie30

Millie30 is the largest machine in the APQS lineup. Its 30-inch throat gives you more room for large blocks, wide borders, and custom designs. You can quilt a larger section before advancing the quilt, which is helpful for both detailed work and busy quilting businesses.

Millie30 includes the full set of premium APQS features:

  • Front and rear touchpad controls

  • Low bobbin indicator and top thread break sensor

  • Lower bobbin thread cutter

  • Electronic horizontal and vertical locks

  • Quilt Glide for smoother detailed quilting

  • Adjustable front and rear handles

  • Stitching speeds up to 3,500 stitches per minute

Optional for Millie30:

  • Quilt Path Compatibility

  • Deluxe Table

  • Comfort Table

If you want the most quilting space and the full APQS feature package, Millie30 is the machine I would have you consider first.

APQS Millie 26”

Millie is the top-of-the-line traditional APQS longarm. It has a 26-inch throat that gives you plenty of quilting space without requiring the additional room of Millie30.

This machine is built for quilters who want premium controls and conveniences close at hand. Millie works well for free-motion quilting, ruler work, pantographs, custom quilting, and computerized quilting with Quilt Path.

Millie includes:

  • Front and rear touchpad controls

  • Low bobbin and top thread break alerts

  • Lower bobbin thread cutter

  • Electronic directional locks

  • Quilt Glide for detailed quilting

  • Independently adjustable front handles

  • Rear multi-position handles

  • Stitching speeds up to 3,500 stitches per minute

    Optional for Millie:

  • Quilt Path Compatibility

  • Deluxe Table

  • Comfort Table

Millie is a good fit if you want a fully equipped 26-inch APQS machine and prefer the proven traditional APQS system.

APQS Freddie 26”

Freddie gives you the same generous 26-inch throat found on Millie but with a more streamlined group of features.

The lightweight machine head is easy to guide across the quilt. Simple front and rear touchpad controls make it easy to reach the settings you use most. Freddie is a good choice for home quilters, quilting studios, and professional quilters who want full-size working space without every premium Millie feature.

Freddie includes:

  • APQS stitch regulation

  • Front and rear touchpad controls

  • Low bobbin indicator

  • Top thread break sensor

  • Quilt Glide for detailed work

  • Bright LED lighting and a built-in blacklight

  • Stitching speeds up to 3,500 stitches per minute

Optional for Freddie:

  • Quilt Path Compatibility

  • Deluxe Table

  • Comfort Table

You are not giving up APQS stitch quality by choosing Freddie.

APQS Lucey 26”

Lucey gives you a full 26-inch throat with simple controls and comfortable handling.

This machine is designed for quilters who want plenty of room for large blocks and flowing designs but do not need all the electronic features found on Millie or Freddie. At 44 pounds, Lucey moves easily across the APQS Bliss Track System.

Lucey includes:

  • APQS stitch regulation

  • Adjustable front handles

  • Single-stitch control

  • Automatic needle positioning

  • LED lighting with a built-in blacklight

  • A laser for following pantographs

  • Stitching speeds up to 3,500 stitches per minute

Optional for Lucey:

  • Quilt Path Compatibility

  • Deluxe Table

  • Comfort Table

Lucey is a practical choice when throat space and stitch quality matter more to you than additional controls and alerts.

APQS Lenni 22”

Lenni brings the engineering and stitch quality of the larger APQS machines into a more compact frame-mounted longarm.

The 22-inch throat gives you room for common blocks, borders, pantographs, and free-motion designs. Lenni is lighter than the 26-inch machines, which makes it easy to move and control. The adjustable front handles can be positioned for your height and quilting style.

Lenni includes:

  • APQS stitch regulation

  • Adjustable front handles

  • A manual horizontal channel lock

  • Single-stitch control

  • Automatic needle positioning

  • LED lighting with a built-in blacklight

  • Stitching speeds up to 3,500 stitches per minute

  • Standard Table only

Optional for Lenni:

  • Quilt Path Compatibility

Lenni is a good fit for home quilters who want a traditional longarm frame but have less room or do not need a 26-inch throat.

APQS Ellie 18”

Ellie is the most compact machine in the APQS lineup but you are not limited to one table setup. The 18-inch machine can be paired with the Halo Hoop Table or an APQS standard frame table.

With the Halo Hoop Table, your quilt rests on the tabletop. You quilt one section, reposition the quilt, and continue. This setup works well in sewing rooms, guest rooms, and other spaces where a full frame may not fit.

Choose the standard table if you prefer to load and advance your quilt on a traditional roller frame. I can help you compare the space requirements and decide which setup fits the way you want to quilt.

Ellie includes:

  • Built-in APQS stitch regulation

  • Independently adjustable front handles

  • LED lighting with a built-in blacklight

  • An L bobbin for consistent tension

  • Stitching speeds up to 3,500 stitches per minute

  • Optional pantograph quilting equipment
