Olfa Chenille Cutter
The OLFA Chenille Cutter is a revolutionary new cutter for easily making your own chenille fabric. With four different sized channel guides, you can make chenille of varying widths. You simply select the desired width you want to achieve according to the distance your parallel stitching lines are apart and select the appropriate guide to use. Sizes provided include 1/8″, 1/4″, 3/8″ & 1/2″. To use, you select the correct size channel guide, slide the channel guide into the stitched channel, hold it vertically on the table and holding the fabric edge for stability, slide the cutter through the fabric layers. The cutter is designed for both left and right-handed use, and cut through curved or straight channels.
The unique OLFA Chenille Cutter will easily cut through multiple layers of fabric, as well as paper, felt and fleece etc.
The blade is ultra-sharp, made from high-quality tungsten alloy tool steel. The blade is unique, with 24 new blade edges which enable you to rotate the blade to the next notch when it becomes dull. The blade doesn’t rotate like a normal rotary cutter, but is locked into position and you cut with that part of the blade until it is dull and you need to rotate to the next notch. It is perfectly safe to use, with no exposed blade edge.
